Spa Owner Sue Backalley Plastic Surgery Practice

Tracy Hurst of Las Vegas has filed a lawsuit against a former employee and her husband for running an unauthorized plastic surgery practice from Hurst’s spa after hours. The practice was being run out of The Medical Spa at Summerlin.

Specifically, the lawsuit alleges that the former employee and her retired plastic surgeon husband were treating thousands of patients after the spa was closed. The practice operated without Hurst’s knowledge for nearly two years.

The procedures included Botox injections, laser skin treatments, and photo facials. In addition, another dozen plastic surgeons performed breast augmentations and other surgeries.

The lawsuit further alleged that some of the doctors were negligent in their practice, resulting in injures and infections for patients. This negligence could have subjected Hurst to negligence. According to the complaint, the business was generating revenues of around $30,000 per day.
